Introduction

What is a trailer?

A trailer is a short video of an actual film that is yet to be released. A trailer includes small clips of a film and they are used to advertise and intise people in to seeing them. A trailer usually includes different parts to the fil, and often if it is representing a sequel the trailer will include cliff hangers and give hints as to what is going to happen in the film.

A trailer is made by one of 5 companies, these companys basically make every trailer out there. The clips of the film can be sent to these companies sometimes a year before the actual release date of the film, this is also before the film has been edited and shoits have been cut. This is why sometimes you can see things on a trailer that aernt in the actual film.
